Top Five Buyouts from Window 1 of the 2025 Mercato
The Mercato 2025 began with an intense first window full of last-minute drama. Rivers had to wait until the final seconds to see if PIO FC’s bid would be approved, after technical issues and human errors caused the submission to be late.
However, all 12 clubs ultimately activated their only available buyout option in this window. Here are the five biggest moves based on transfer fees.
1. Marc Pelaz: 140 M
Porcinos FC made the biggest splash of Window 1, spending 140 M to sign Marc Pelaz, a key player for Jijantes FC. This move showcased Ibai Llanos‘ ambition to build a powerhouse for Split 5.
2. Aitor Vives: 125 M
TheGrefg didn’t hold back, splashing 125 M to bring Aitor Vives from Los Troncos FC to Saiyans FC. The all-around midfielder is expected to add balance and creativity to the team.
3. Gilles Vidal: 107 M

Although the numbers weren’t as flashy as in Window 1, Window 3 still shook up the market with major transfers.
This window was highlighted by the battle between El Barrio and Los Troncos for Eloy Amoedo, who ultimately chose Perxitaa’s squad. This move triggered Adri Contreras’ team to sign Rafa Leva for €40M.
