The format

Let’s delve into the tournament format. 32 teams will participate: 8 from Kings League Spain, 8 from the Americas' and 12 wildcards from the rest of the world, that will be joined by the 4 classified in the Redemption Game. The teams from the rest of the world will be formed by players from different corners of the globe, selected through Drafts held in different major cities such as London, Tokyo, São Paulo, Paris...

The teams will compete in a Swiss-System: during the initial phase, 40 starter matches will take place before progressing to the knockout stages: the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final. The first phase comprises two rounds and a 'last chance' pool. Goal, to keep it simple: to secure two wins and get to the final phase, where Monterrey's Estadio BBVA awaits for the Final Four that will crown the KWC first ever champion.

May the best team win!
