LOUD to Group A, Dendele to Group B: fans are picking the Kings Cup Brazil groups
Gutinho, Nikxik and Danilo Silva were the first picks of three of the teams on the ballot. Now they need the fans’ votes to find out where they’ll play the Kings Cup.
The fans are building the Kings Cup Brazil groups. Since Draft day, Kings League Brazil has been running a daily vote on Canal da Kings, its Instagram broadcast channel, and the team with the most votes takes a spot in Group A or Group B. Two calls are already in: LOUD SC will play in Group A and Dendele FC in Group B.
The vote open right now decides the second team in Group A, with DesimpaiN, Dibrados FC, Furia FC and G3X FC on the ballot. It all leads to a Kings Cup that kicks off on Monday, October 19, with Rodada 1.
How to vote on Instagram
To vote, head to Canal da Kings from the @kingsleague_br Instagram profile. It runs daily: every day, at the same time, the result drops and the next vote opens, so the groups fill up one team at a time. The first vote opened on the same day as the October 3 Draft at the Trident Arena.
LOUD SC opens Group A, Dendele FC kicks off Group B
The first verdict came on October 4: LOUD SC were chosen to open Group A of the Kings Cup. The vote for the first Group B team started that same day, and on October 5 the fans sent Dendele FC there.
DesimpaiN, Dibrados, Furia or G3X: four teams, one spot
The third vote pits the champions against the owners of the first overall pick. DesimpaiN come in as reigning Kings League Brazil champions, with Nikxik as their first Draft pick; Dibrados FC took Gutinho at number 1. G3X FC opened their Draft with Danilo Silva, and Furia FC complete the ballot.
On the same channel, Kings League Brazil also asked which team had built the best squad for the Kings Cup: Dibrados FC won that poll, ahead of LOUD SC and G3X FC.
Eight teams still waiting for a group
Of the 10 Kings League Brazil teams, only LOUD SC and Dendele FC have their place locked in. Capim FC, Fluxo FC, Nyvelados FC and Podpah Funkbol Clube are waiting their turn alongside the four teams in the current vote.
Every vote adds another piece until Group A and Group B of the Kings Cup Brazil are complete. On Monday, October 19, the ball starts rolling in Rodada 1.
