Jijantes FC 4 – 5 Gear 7 FC
Gerard Romero’s Jijantes FC has been knocked out of the tournament after a dramatic 4–5 loss to Gear 7 FC. The Italians pulled off a late comeback, with Gabriele Folla scoring a double goal in the 40+1 minute to send his team through to the Round of 16.
Gear 7 FC will now face FC Zeta — a high-stakes all-Italian clash where only one can survive.
F2R 4 – 3 La Capital CF
One of the most controversial games of the day saw F2R edge out Lamine Yamal & La Cobra’s La Capital CF in a nail-biting 4–3 finish. In the final moments, with the golden goal in play, La Capital’s goalkeeper Jiménez committed a foul in the box. The referee pointed to the spot, and Haris El Mouttaqi converted the penalty to seal the win for the french side.
La Cobra’s Presidential Penalty wasn’t enough to save his team — they’re heading home empty-handed, while F2R moves on to face Panam All Starz in the next round.
Karasu 7 – 3 SXB FC
France’s runner-up defended home soil with a commanding 7–3 win over SXB FC. Kameto’s team controlled the game throughout. SHoNgxBoNg scored his Presidential Penalty, while Kameto missed his. Yohan Mollo bagged a brace and was voted MVP of the match.
SXB FC became the second-to-last wildcard team to be eliminated. Karasu will now face tournament favorite Furia FC in the Round of 16.
Desimpedidos Goti 9 – 1 Jynxzi FC
Desimpedidos Goti put on a masterclass at the Cupra Arena France, thrashing the last remaining wildcard team, Jynxzi FC, with a crushing 9–1 victory. Club president Toguro lived up to the hype — entertaining fans with his Presidential Penalty and converting it as well.
With this dominant performance, the brazilians are through to the Round of 16, where they’ll face Dendele FC in a battle for a spot in the quarterfinals.
