With Los Chamos FC as champions and Persas FC missing Obed Martínez: this is how the Americas teams arrive at the KWC Clubs 2025

From June 1 to 14, Paris will host the second club world cup in the Kings Universe

Teams from Kings League Americas heading to KWC Clubs 2025

The countdown is on for the Kings World Cup Clubs Paris 2025, where Olimpo United, Persas FC, Galácticos del Caribe, and Los Chamos FC will represent the Kings League Openbank Americas.

The tournament in the French capital will feature the most recent regional champions, as well as the top-ranked teams from the 2024/25 season standings. The goal is clear: to conquer Europe just as Porcinos FC did in Monterrey in 2024.

Qualified Teams from the Kings League Americas for the KWC Clubs 2025

Olimpo United – Split 2 Champions in Toluca

Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and his Olimpo United earned their ticket to KWC Clubs 2025 by winning Split 2 at Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca.

However, the team went through a complete overhaul during the 2025 Mercato and ended Split 3 in 11th place with just 11 points — the result of three regular-time wins and one shootout victory.

That’s why the international showdown in France is the ultimate goal for Chicharito and company to claim their redemption.

Key Players:

  • Gustavo “Furby” Guillén: Played all three Kings League Americas splits with three different teams; was top scorer for Peluche Caligari at KWC Clubs 2024.
  • Patricio “Pato” Arias: Former Atlético Parceros FC captain, now leading the Olimpo United defense.
  • Brayan Hernández: Previously a standout for Galácticos del Caribe in Splits 1 and 2; now part of a dream attacking trio with captain Marco Bueno and Furby Guillén.
  • Jacob “Lobo” Morales: Draft player returning to Olimpo United as a Wildcard reinforcement.
  • Josecarlos Van Rankin: Former professional in Mexico, the U.S., and Bulgaria; Peluche Caligari captain now on loan with Olimpo United.

KWC Clubs 2024: Eliminated in the quarterfinals by Saiyans FC (4-3) at KL Arena CDMX.

Persas FC – Kings League Americas’ Crownless Kings

Always a contender in the Kings League Openbank Americas, Persas FC head to France determined to win their long-awaited first title — after falling short twice: first at the Final Four in Estadio Azteca (Split 1), and then again at the Kings & Queens Finals in Toluca, where they were defeated by Olimpo United.

However, Zeein’s squad will be without Obed Martínez, one of the top talents in the Kings Universe, due to a serious injury sidelining him for several months.

Key Players:

  • Antonio “La Muralla” Monterde: Best Goalkeeper of Split 2 with 103 saves in 13 matches.
  • Yair Arias: Split 1 champion with Raniza FC and part of Colombia’s national team at KWC Nations 2025.
  • Kevin Valdez: Split 2 champion with Olimpo United; part of Persas FC’s strong defensive line alongside Yair Arias.
  • Jesús “Chuy” Pérez: Also won Split 2 with Olimpo United; ranked sixth in assists during Split 3 (11 total).
  • Walter Ayoví: Former professional and two-time FIFA World Cup participant with Ecuador; Split 1 champion with Raniza FC.
  • Jhon Palacios: Took part in the first-ever Kings international tryouts in Medellín; played Split 2 with West Santos FC and Split 3 with Los Chamos FC.
  • Davi Ilario: Wildcard signing from Real Elite (Kings Brasil); second top scorer of Split 1 with 15 goals.

KWC Clubs 2024: Knocked out in the Last Chance round by Stallions (2-0).

Los Chamos FC – From Bottom to Champions in Veracruz

Perhaps no team better embodies resilience and growth in the Kings Universe than Los Chamos FC. From finishing last in Split 1 to lifting the trophy in Split 3, their story reached its peak in the dreamlike Kings & Queens Finals in Veracruz.

Owned by Yolo, Donato & RDjavi, the team’s transformation was rooted in six guiding values: unity, transcendence, pride, passion, intelligence, and attitude. The initials of those values spell “utopía” — a word that encapsulates their incredible journey to glory at Estadio Luis “Pirata” Fuente.

Key Players:

  • Baruc Mateos: Back-to-back Kings League Americas champion — with Olimpo United in Toluca and Los Chamos FC in Veracruz.
  • Christian Lagunas: Second-best assist provider in Split 3 (16 assists); former Real Titán FC player and Americas King of Kings champion.
  • Juan Cisneros: Split 2 runner-up with Persas FC; part of Mexico’s squad in KWC Nations 2025.
  • Genaro “Pink Panther” Castillo: Second-leading scorer for Los Chamos in Split 3 with 12 goals, plus nine assists and two MVPs.

KWC Clubs 2024: Heavy defeat in the Redemption Game against PIO FC.

Galácticos del Caribe – Americas’ Dark Horse for KWC Clubs 2025

Los Futbolitos and Alofoke didn’t win it all in Veracruz like Isa Rockets did in the Queens League Americas, but their Galácticos del Caribe had a standout performance in Split 3 — positioning them as a serious dark horse from the Americas.

Now, with three top-tier Kings Universe reinforcements joining a fearsome attack already led by Colombian star Kevin Cardona, they are ready for Paris.

Key Players:

  • Moisés Dabbah: Ranked among the top five goalkeepers of Split 3 with 89 saves.
  • José “Shaggy” Martínez: Former professional and Split 2 champion with Olimpo United; MVP of the Kings & Queens Finals in Veracruz.
  • Kevin Cardona: Scored 22 goals, delivered 11 assists, and won five Match MVPs during Split 3.
  • Wellington Andrade: On international loan from Real Elite (Kings Brasil); contributed five goals and two assists.
  • Pepe Askenazi: Attack leader for Club de Cuervos with 21 goals and five assists; joins as an international loan signing.
  • Alexis “Chino” Silva: Top scorer for Split 3 semifinalists Raniza FC with 19 goals and four assists.

KWC Clubs 2024: Eliminated in Round 2 after defeats to xBuyer Team and Persas FC.
