Qualified teams from Kings League Spain

Porcinos FC – The reigning champs are back for more

Porcinos FC returns to the World Cup as what they are: the defending champions. In 2024, they beat the odds and lifted the trophy in Veracruz, outscoring G3X 5-3 in the final.

This year, they come in through a direct spot, although their Split 5 run was a bit shaky: they finished fifth in the regular season and were knocked out by Jijantes FC in the quarters (5-3). But don’t sleep on Ibai Llanos’ squad—they know how to turn it on when it counts.

Key players:

  • Nadir Louah, crowned Golden King and named to the 2024 Kings World Cup Clubs Dream Team
  • Gilles Vidal, Split 4’s top scorer with 24 goals
  • Marc Pelaz, Porcinos’ leading scorer in Split 5 with 17 goals

KWCC 2024: Champions (beat xBuyer Team in the semis, then G3X in the final)

Jijantes FC – From domestic glory to World Cup revenge

Jijantes lifted the trophy in Split 4 after a thrilling final against xBuyer Team (6-7), but couldn’t hold onto it in Split 5. They finished fourth, knocked out Porcinos, but fell in the semis to Los Troncos (3-3; 3-2 in Shootouts).

Gerard Romero’s team wants more. They’ve already been to a World Cup, but in 2024, they didn’t last long.

Key players:

  • Pol Ortega, Split 5’s top scorer
  • Víctor Vidal, goalkeeper with the most MOTM awards in Split 5

KWCC 2024: Knocked out in the Round of 16 by xBuyer Team (4-3)

Kunisports – A high-profile wildcard before crossing the pond

Kunisports joins the tournament as a wildcard pick. Before debuting in Kings League Americas, Kun Agüero’s team wants to make a bold statement in Paris.

They finished second in Split 5’s regular season, but were stunned by Ultimate Móstoles in the quarterfinals (4-6).

Players to watch:

  • Isaac Mendes, currently with Moscardó in Spain’s 4th tier
  • Javi Espinosa, 10 assists in Split 5, then playing for Aniquiladores FC

KWCC 2024: Knocked out in Round of 16 by Olimpo United (2-4)

Ultimate Móstoles – The kings of comebacks

DjMaRiiO’s crew started Split 5 quietly (9th place), but come playoff time—BOOM. They knocked out everyone in their path and made it to the grand final vs. Los Troncos, the regular season leaders. After an epic comeback from 3-0 down, they won in the Shootouts (4-4; 2-3).

Players to watch:

  • Diego de la Mata, Split 5’s assist king (12)
  • José Segovia, best goalkeeper of Split 4 and 5 in Kings League Spain

KWCC 2024: Knocked out in Round of 16 by G3X (4-3)

Los Troncos FC – Consistency pays off

Perxitaa’s team was the most consistent squad in Split 5’s regular phase. They took out Jijantes in the semis, but the curse of the top seed struck again as they lost in the shootouts to Ultimate Móstoles in the Kings League European Finals.

Still, Los Troncos had already locked their spot for Paris as the club with the highest total points across Split 4 and 5. Will they finally lift their first big trophy?

Players to watch:

  • Carles Planas, team top scorer (11 goals)
  • Álex Guti, champion with Porcinos in KWCC 2024 and part of the Dream Team

KWCC 2024: Knocked out in quarterfinals by xBuyer Team (9-4)

xBuyer Team – One last life and one bullet left

The Buyer brothers’ team came close in Split 4, losing the final to Jijantes (6-7). In Split 5, they were eliminated in the quarters by Saiyans FC (7-5). But a slip from TheGrefg’s side let them sneak into the final list thanks to cumulative points.

Players to watch:

  • Fuad El Amrani, team’s top scorer in Split 5
  • Pablo Beguer, KWCC 2024 semifinalist and Dream Team member

KWCC 2024: Reached the semis, fell to Porcinos (7-3)
