Khaled Abbas ends FWZ’s perfect run as Ultra Chmicha stand alone at the top after Kings League MENA Matchday 5

46 goals in five games, no Shootout deciders, Mohamed Abdelfattah top of the scoring charts with 9 and a 7-6 settled in the 46th minute.

Ultra Chmicha are the last unbeaten team in the Kings League MENA. On Friday 2 October at the Kings League Arena in Riyadh, FWZ lost for the first time in Split 1, 4-3 to 3BS, after Khaled Abbas scored three goals in nine minutes. The leaders beat Bakhira F.C. 5-3 to move to 5-0.

Matchday 5 started with two teams still unbeaten and finished with 46 goals in five games and no Shootout deciders. Red Zone won 2-9 against ABO FC, DR7 edged RA2 FC 7-6 and Rising Peaks beat Turbo 5-2.

3BS turn a 1-3 around and FWZ lose their perfect record

FWZ were 0-2 up by the second minute thanks to two Igor Campos goals. Amine Kheche pulled one back in the 6th minute and, in the 27th, Absi missed his President Penalty while Fwaz scored his to make it 1-3.

Then came Khaled Abbas. He scored in the 34th and 42nd minutes to level and got the 4-3 in the 43rd, Victory Goal included: 3 goals in nine minutes. FWZ drop to 4-1 but stay second; 3BS move to 2-3. Every event is in the 3BS vs FWZ match centre.

Ultra Chmicha make it five wins out of five

Bakhira F.C. went ahead through Mame Cheikh in the 2nd minute. Sagar Escoto turned it around with a double goal in the 18th and Luís Henrique ‘Boolt’ equalised at 2-2 in the 21st. Masi Dabo (28′) and a Dani Liñares penalty (36′) made it 4-2 to Ultra Chmicha; Amar Cekic, who had missed a Shootout in the 36th minute, made it 4-3 in the 39th. The 5-3 came in the 41st minute from a Boolt own goal, which was the Victory Goal.

Both President Penalties were missed in the 28th minute, by Yassine Bouguesaa and Achraf Sabiri. Ultra Chmicha top the table at 5-0, with 34 goals scored and a +18 goal difference.

Red Zone run riot and Mohamed Abdelfattah is now the top scorer

Red Zone led 0-5 at half-time. Mohamed Abdelfattah scored twice in the first minute and wrapped up the 2-9 in the 42nd; those 3 goals take him to 9, ahead of Igo Canindé (7) in the scoring charts. Jero Martín scored 2, and Camilo Gaviria, Gilles Vidal, Daniel Pérez and Christian Ronchi, from the spot, completed the rout.

Both ABO FC goals came from Johnatan Baton, one in the 22nd minute and a Shootout in the 30th. Ali Olwan missed his President Penalty in the 33rd. ABO FC have the worst goal difference in the league (-17), while Red Zone move to 3-2.

Thirteen goals and a 7-6 in the 46th minute between DR7 and RA2 FC

RA2 FC were 1-3 up after three minutes with 2 goals from Eloy Amoedo and one from David Reyes. DR7 hit back through Nawaf Arwan (11′), an Igo Canindé Shootout (21′) straight after Mark Sorroche had missed his, and goals from Abdullah Alaqeeli (22′), Abdul Ilah Hussein (23′) and Arwan again (30′): 6-3.

RA2 FC fought back with RAED’s President Penalty (31′), Reyes’ second goal (42′) and a Mark Sorroche penalty in the 46th minute to make it 6-6. In that same minute, Abdullah Alaqeeli scored the 7-6 and completed his hat-trick with the Victory Goal. DR7 climb to third at 3-2; RA2 FC are bottom at 1-4.

Rising Peaks make it two wins in a row

Rising Peaks were 3-0 up in the 21st minute thanks to a Saoud Mubarak double goal (18′) and an Ali Alnamer strike, after Abdullah Almaghrabi had missed a penalty in the 15th. Turbo replied with Tarboun’s President Penalty (33′) and an Islam Moursy penalty (38′), with Yazeed Al Shafei scoring Rising Peaks’ President Penalty in between (34′). Eihab Hooba completed the 5-2 in the 42nd.

After the 3 (3) – 3 (1) win over Bakhira F.C. on Matchday 4, Rising Peaks have now won two in a row and sit at 2-3, level with Turbo.

Matchday 6 is on Monday 5 October: Ultra Chmicha close the night against RA2 FC at 23:00 (KSA) and FWZ look to bounce back against ABO FC at 20:00.
