Colombia and Morocco face off again in the Kings World Cup Nations semifinals

La Tricolor crushed Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals (6-1), securing their spot as the tournament’s first semifinalist. Colombian superstar James Rodríguez made sure to be there, cheering on his national team live at the Kings Arena.

In fact, James even stepped up to take the President Penalty for Colombia! Although he didn’t convert it, the Cafeteros had no trouble overcoming Uzbekistan and are now just one step away from the grand final at Allianz Stadium in Turin.

With this result, Uzbekistan’s journey comes to an end, but they leave the tournament as one of the top eight teams.

It took the first-ever Kings World Cup Nations Penalty Shootout to decide Colombia’s semifinal opponent. Morocco edged out the USA in an intense showdown, tied 7-7 after 40 minutes of goals galore.

Nadir Louah and Fuad El Amrani were the heroes for Morocco, driving their team into the semis and igniting the Peppino Vismara stadium, which was fully backing the Atlas Lions.

The Golden Crown scored twice, including the crucial double-goal that sent the match into the shootout, while xBuyer Team’s star also bagged a brace.

Now, Morocco gets their shot at revenge against Colombia in the semifinals after losing their opening match against the Cafeteros.
