Last Chance round schedule: the final call for the World Cup dream

The group stage at Trident Arena has delivered the first results and now the Kings World Cup Nations Brazil 2026 is preparing for the most dramatic moment of the tournament. The Last Chance round is near: a stage where every mistake could be the last.
Six teams are ready to give everything to keep the Brazilian dream alive. Competing for a spot in this knockout phase will be the five national teams that finished second in their respective groups and the best overall third-place team of the competition. Now the group stage is finished and the tournament moves to the knockout phase. The rules are simple and cruel: in or out to decide who will continue the journey toward Allianz Parque.

Last Chance Round Schedule – Day 10 (January 12)
6pm ET – USA vs. the Netherlands
The United States finished second in their group following a Kings Tiebreaker with Germany and Argentina, the latter of whom they beat 8-5 in Round 3. They will face the Netherlands, who also secured second place after a Three-Team Shootout against Colombia and Morocco. The Dutch advanced following a 6-5 comeback victory during the Matchball phase, with the winning goal scored by Yuya Ikeshita.
7pm ET – Argentina vs. France
Argentina enters as the best third-placed team of the tournament with two wins, despite finishing last in the shootout tiebreak against Germany and the USA. They face a French side coming off a second victory against Poland. That match featured a historic performance by goalkeeper Guillaume Lesec, who scored a hat trick and remains the highest-scoring keeper in the competition.
8pm ET – Saudi Arabia vs. Brazil
Saudi Arabia finished second in their group after a Kings Tiebreaker with Mexico and Indonesia, following a 12-1 blowout win against India. They now face Brazil, who bounced back from a loss to Spain with an epic win over Qatar, aided by Kaká’s presidential penalty, and a dominant 6-1 victory over Peru.
These matches will determine the final three teams to qualify for the quarterfinals. The group winners await them, ready to fight for a place in the Grand Final on January 17 at Allianz Parque. Only one nation will lift the trophy at this Kings World Cup Nations 2026.
