Los Chamos FC survive Galácticos del Caribe’s fightback

A flying start: Tona Mejía scored after 2 minutes and Yair Arias made it 2-0 in the 5th. Pablo Gómez levelled with two quick goals, but Los Chamos FC pulled away again and Christian Lagunas converted a Shootout in the 33rd minute for 5-3. Alexis Silva and Daniel Mendoza made it 5-5 within two minutes, and Lagunas sealed the 6-5 in the 44th with his second goal of the night.

Tona Mejía was named MVP. With both sides already in the Quarter-finals, winning the Challenger game earns Los Chamos FC an extra secret card for the knockout stage.

Club de Cuervos come back from 6-8 in a 17-goal thriller

Madness at El Domo. José Askenazi scored 4 goals for Peluche Caligari, one of them a penalty, and Escorpión Dorado netted the President Penalty to make it 6-8 in the 33rd minute. Club de Cuervos hit back through Gustavo ‘Furby’ Guillén, who had already scored a double goal as Star Player in the 14th, and José Gómez levelled at 8-8 in the 41st.

Luis Carbajal made it 9-8 in that same minute and finished with 3 goals and the MVP award. NataliaMX’s side end the group stage 3-1 and top of Group A; Peluche Caligari go out at 1-3.

KRÜ FC make no mistake and wait in the Semi-finals

Kun Agüero’s team controlled their own fate and never wavered. Santiago Rotemberg scored in the first minute, Nicolás Vanderhoeven made it 2-0 in the 8th and, after the break, Dago Campari from the penalty spot and Edson Trejo with a Shootout stretched the lead. Atlético Parceros FC, who had seen Angellot Caro miss a penalty in the 3rd minute, could only reply through Alexis Gómez and Marlon Ramírez.

Gonzalo Lescano wrapped up the 5-2 in the 40th and Hugo Murga was named MVP. The defeat doesn’t knock Atlético Parceros FC out: the top four in Group B all finish 2-2 and KRÜ FC take first place thanks to their wins over Los Chamos FC, Raniza FC and Atlético Parceros FC.

Lobo Morales turns around a 0-3 against Persas FC

Persas FC came out flying: George Corral scored in the 1st minute, Victor Vivia in the 2nd and Diego Abella made it 0-3 in the 21st. Juan Guarnizo’s team go through to the Quarter-finals as Group A runners-up, while Persas FC, on the same 2-2 record as Aniquiladores FC and Galácticos del Caribe, go out on head-to-head goal difference.

Raniza FC seize their chance

Raniza FC only needed a win and made that clear from the first minute, when Bernaldino Valdovinos scored. Cristopher Castillo bagged a brace, Alana scored the President Penalty in the 25th and Salvador Navarro added another. Guerrilla FC only scored through a Miguel Rebollo Shootout and a Kevin Cardona goal, and Rebollo missed a penalty in the 41st.

Adriano Nunes made it 2-6 in the 41st and was named MVP. The last Quarter-final ticket goes to Alana’s team, fourth in Group B; Guerrilla FC go out at 1-3.
